It's Summer! + Where I'll Be

Happy June!

Erin and I are both officially out of school! YAY!! Thank you to everyone who stuck with us in May. It was a pretty hectic, overwhelming month, and I'm very glad that it's finally behind us. (No more finals and tests!)

However, while we are very happy that school is out, one thing that comes along with summer, is summer vacation. While a lot of you are having fun next week at BEA (Book Expo America, for those of you who don't know) Erin and I are going to Washington DC, which- while it isn't BEA- we are very excited for! So that will be next week. (extra note: if you aren't going to BEA, I highly recommend Armchair BEA. They have a really adorable button this year)

And when we return from Washington DC, I'll be in town for a little more than a week before I'm packing my bags and heading to France where I will finally be able to use my French! And even though it's not my first time going, I'm still uber excited! I've never been to the beach in France before, so that should be exciting! Our family lives in France so it will be fun to see them too. :)

and here's some heart-shaped
watermelon for you. :)
So la di da, I will be in France until the second week in July, but alas, you will not see me at all in July anyway, so it doesn't really matter for you when I come back. Yes, that's right, I will not be blogging in July. There are multiple reasons I'm doing this, the main reasons being that I want a low-stress summer and just want to take a little break. I'll be back in August though, I promise! And I may stop by a couple times in July. We'll see.

Be prepared for email delay in June while I'm out of town, and there will be more upcoming reminders about my blogging break in July.

Enjoy your summer! :)

  3. Wow! France! That's super cool, I'm learning french too, and next summer I'm going to go there with my school. You should blog about the experience, and maybe the books you got to read while you were there or something.
