My first resolution is from Goodreads! While I don't love Goodreads and sort of keep a love/hate relationship with it, it's good for keeping track of the books I've read. In 2011, I read 102 books which is totally amazing! This year my reading goal is 102 books and I'm hoping to meet that goal or surpass it!
My next reading challenge is one that's hosted by Icey Books and I Like These Books, and it's The Standalone Reading Challenge! This is a challenge I'm super excited about. There are too many series in YA, and while I love some series, it's nice to move onto other books and not be stuck reading book after book after book in the same series. This challenge is to read 15 stand alone books. You can see the list of 2012 YA Standalones here.
Most of you know that contemporary is probably my favorite genre (that doesn't mean there aren't exceptions!) so my third reading challenge this year is the 2012 YA Contemporary Challenge! This challenge is hosted by Katie's Book Blog and Reading Angel. A cool thing about this challenge is that you can choose which level you want to participate in. I chose level two which is at least 10 Contemporary YA novels for 2012. You can see the full list of 2012 YA Contemps here.
The fourth, and final challenge I'm participating in is The Story Siren's Debut Author Challenge! This is a very very popular challenge because it gives Debut Authors a bit of a promotion and readers get to find brand new authors! If you haven't signed up for this challenge, I highly recommend you do! You can learn more about the challenge here and see the list of 2012 YA and MG debut authors and their books here.
And one last word...
That's all for today! What challenges are YOU participating in this year? Let us know in the comments!

Good luck!!
