Skype Ally Carter

Hello everyone! Austin- ites are very privileged this weekend because Book People (THE best bookstore in the country) is doing a live skype with Ally Carter! For those of you who don't know what Skype is, it's a place where you can chat and call friends, but you get to actually see them. So, basically this means you get to SEE Ally Carter! I will be at the chat, so if you come, feel free to find me and come talk to me.
A few more things, this chat is all about Heist Society, so not the GG books or any of All's adult books. Lastly, this chat begins at around 2pm. For more details on the chat click here or you can go to Book People's website where they also talk about this Skype with Ally Carter  here. If you have any questions, please leave a comment. Thanks!

Mundie Moms Chat With Ally Carter

Hello Everyone! Sorry, I don't usually like to do more than 1 post a day, but I thought I could make an exception.
Yesterday, I was privileged enough to be able to participate in an online chat with Ally Carter and Mundie Moms! If you couldn't attend, I truly am sorry. It was tons of fun, and I learned so much more about Ally Carter's books! I even got a few of my questions answered by Ally Carter! If you were unable to attend here is the link to the chat. http://mundiemoms.blogspot.com/2011/02/live-chat-with-heist-society-author.html
Also, if you have not joined the Mundie Moms website, it is a great website for young adult readers. And don't worry it's not just for moms.
Lastly, on Ally Carter's blog she said that she does not know how long the live chat transcript will be up for on Mundie Moms, so you probably want to read the chat soon before it is deleted.

Website To Have Makeover!

Hello everyone. I recently received Adobe Photoshop, which will be good for improving this website. Unfortunately, even though I purchased the book about Photoshop, I am not an expert at Photoshop. Fortunately, I have a friend that is. I recently spoke with my friend who is good with Photoshop, and she is willing to help me learn how to use it! So look for a (possibly) site makeover soon!

In addition to that, I also received a recommendation for two young adult authors.  The two authors that were recommended write Texas-y books. So if that interests you, then keep reading! These authors are:

- J. Frank Dobie- for more information click here
- Louis L'Amour- for more information click here
